Dieser Text basiert auf einer Durchsicht der wichtigsten erhaltenen Handschriften der Antike und der Neubewertung der Textüberlieferung Ciceros im Mittelalter. Die Neuausgabe von Claudio Moreschini beruht also insgesamt auf der Kollation einer größeren Anzahl von Handschriften als es bei der BT-Edition von Theodor Schiche (1915) der Fall war. This text is based on an inspection of the most important surviving manuscripts of Antiquity and a re-evaluation of the textual transmission of Cicero in the Middle Ages. All in all, therefore, the new edition rests on the collation of a larger number of manuscripts than that of Theodor Schiche (BT, 1915).
