The theology of 10th-11th century author al- Zamakhshari is studied in detail. This books starts with his life, studies, and position in the Islamic schools, especially the Mu'tazila, and then continues with his theological opinions on topics such as prophecy, afterlife or theodicy, according to the Five Principles that conformed the Mu'tazilite creed.
