These figures continue and expand the author's 1900-1945 estimates, published in A Study of Saving in the United States, Volume III. The estimates for aggregate national wealth are broken down by the main forms of tangible assets but also by the main economic sectors which hold these assets, thus providing wealth statements for each of the seven major sectors. This is the only set of national wealth estimates now available for the United States.Originally published in 1962.The Princeton Legacy Library uses the latest print-on-demand technology to again make available previously out-of-print books from the distinguished backlist of Princeton University Press.
