Für "Know-how" besitzende Unternehmen ist es daher von größtem Interesse, ihr Spezialwissen vor dem Zugriff der Konkurrenz abzuschirmen. Das vorliegende Werk beschäftigt sich vor diesem Hintergrund mit dem bisher noch vielfach unerörtertem Problemfeld der Abgrenzung von geschütztem und nicht geschütztem Know-how im Falle des "Reverse Engineering", der Erlangung von Konstruktions- und Programmierwissen durch Rückwärtsentwicklung oder Auseinanderbau; The development and legal purchase of "know-how" are costly. Accordingly, for companies in possession of "know-how" it is of vital interest to ensure that competitors do not gain access to their specialized knowledge.
