Im Gegensatz zu einer Veröffentlichung über formale statistische Methoden, die bei Neuauflagen in der Regel durch neuere Methoden ergänzt wird, ist die Datengewinnung in der Wirtschafts- und Sozialstatistik von der Entwicklung der amtlichen und nicht amtlichen praktischen Statistik abhängig, was Veränderungen sowohl in den Erhebungsmethoden als auch bei den Erhebungen selbst mit sich bringt. Den Wandel stark beeinflußt haben insbesondere zwei Entwicklungen: die zunehmende Auswirkung der Statistik der Europäischen Gemeinschaft auf die nationale amtliche Statistik und der Aufbau der amtlichen Statistik im Beitrittsgebiet. Insofern wurden die Ausführungen zu den konkreten Erhebungen in der Wirtschafts- und Sozialstatistik neu geschrieben (Kapitel 8, 9 und 10), wobei konzeptionell versucht wurde, sie in Berichtssysteme einzuordnen. Außerdem wurde den nicht zufälligen Teilerhebungen wegen ihrer großen praktischen Anwendung ein eigener Abschnitt (Kapitel 2) gewidmet. Neben der Aktualisierung und Ergänzung des Textes wurde versucht, die Übersichtlichkeit und Lesbarkeit der Veröffentlichung dadurch zu erhöhen, daß insbesondere bei den Stichprobenverfahren eine Zusammenfassung der in Frage kommenden Formeln gegeben wird. |
